I was invited to a friend 's surprise party here at the weekend. When we arrived staff were lovely, very helpful when we arrived to put up birthday decorations. There were 16 of us and we had the backroom upstairs, ideal for small party. It was a big birthday surprise for my friend. We were all having a great time and it was a lovely atmosphere until one of the waitresses came to the table. She was so abrupt and sharp when dealing with us. One of my friends said she felt as if the 'teacher had just told us off '. That made me laugh as most of us were over 50. Every time she came to the table she was really frosty which was a shame as the other waitresses were really nice. Food was delicious...
Visited here with friends on a Friday evening. What a fabulous little place. The food was delicious, waitresses were friendly and helpful too. I had the breaded halloumi with chilli dip which was lovely, Chicken supreme with tarragon and crushed new potatoes and a raspberry cheesecake to finish all for £21. Other friends had various starters all at £5. The pan fried salmon dish was popular and apparently delicious too. My only point for improvement would be the chairs. They are high backed and low. Other than that fully enjoyed our experience and will definitely call again.
Been meaning to write a message regarding Valentine's night at Millers restaurant. The food was wonderful and really on form from start to finish. The staff were very attentive and kind even though very busy. I never normally have a sweet but decided to share one with my husband, we chose baileys cheesecake and I can safely say it was the best cheesecake I have ever tasted it was so light and tasty (definitely homemade). You have a brilliant chef's at Millers I must say.
Yet another fantastic Sunday lunchJust been for Sunday lunch today and was even better than as my last review. Lunch for 5 and between us we had beef, pork, lamb and turkey. All the meat was delicious and tender. The Yorkshire puds were spot on and the vegs were probably the best we've had for Sunday lunch anywhere. This food was top notch and with good beer wine the Millers/Brewers Pride remains our favourite. Well done people and see you again shortly.

Haven’t been for a while and why. Staff so lovely and pleasant as soon as you walk in the small bar area. Menu just what we like. Good choice. Something for everyone. No starters were had. All had different main courses, mine was steak and ale pie. Yummy. Husband had fish and chips. Excellent. Vegetables nicely cooked. Four desserts on menu. Four of us eating and had different. Sticky toffee was enormous and floating in sauce. Waffles just right.
Had a great 3 course meal at this hidden gem in Ossett for date night. Top dining at a reasonable price. Personally recommend the ham hock croquettes and lamb shank. Definitely recommend and will re visit.
Amazing food, always delicious. Good size portions and always piping hot. Great little restaurant tucked away above the brewers pride. Great ambience. Staff are welcoming and friendly.

Back to Millers last Sunday lunch for 6 and as before, just superb great service from the staff.
