My family and I went here for Father’s Day. The service and ambiance were good but the food was stellar. Everything we tried was delicious. I liked it so much I suggested this to my fiancée for our wedding rehearsal. She liked it too and so opted to have this restaurant host our rehearsal. I was looking for a restaurant to take my family to for my Dads birthday. I’m so happy I decided to give Mims a try. The service was wonderful. Our server was very friendly and always made sure we were happy with what we ordered. I had the sautéed chicken and even though it sounds boring, it was delicious. The food tasted great. I gave it 4 stars only because my body has a reaction to something that's added to the food. I ordered a Buffalo chicken sandwich, which was great. Unfortunately, a few hours later, my joints got stiff with pain and dicomfort. Haven't figured out what causes this. Maybe, MSG or some kind of sulfate product. Probably, the hot sauce. I like modern so the vintage did not flow with me. The service needs improvement, to justify a good tip.... simple questions like… Could I get you some water? Would you like some napkins? How is everything? Is there anything else I could get you?

Haven't been here since Covid. Nothing really has changed. Food is consistently good. Glad to be back
