Ming's is a great example of a Hong Kong styled cafe that hits all the right points. While I've only started visiting here recently, they have apparently been in this corner of New Kennedy Square for over a decade. As with most HK styled cafes, you are looking at curry fish balls, pork and chicken cutlet dishes, and a large amount of rice and noodle dishes. I would say the biggest strength of Ming's is the cost/portion/taste ratio, as they offer large portions of good tasting food that doesn't break the bank (with most dishes being under $12 and generally have a soup and drink that accompanies the main dish).Of the couple times I've went, the dishes I ordered were always tasty and filling. We tried this place for the first time (2021-12-02), ordered the short ribs with wine sauce on a sizzling hot plate, baked beef rice, and beef brisket noodles. The lunch menu (online and on-site) states that the sizzling hot plate set includes a salad and dessert, but the restaurant just arbitrarily said that they were only served at dinner time even though it's the same price for lunch or dinner. What a rip-off! Nothing special about the noodles. The baked rice was very salty. The excessive salt/MSG made me thirsty for hours. Never again will we go back to this place... Metro Square Cafe is way better!

It’s 9.20pm and I’m still eating because I’m came in late. The owner is very nice and even the server. They let us stay longer and told us to take our time to eat! This is beyond professional. This restaurant in Hong Kong style is excellent. It feels like home and is perfect for quick meals or takeout on lazy days. They are available on food delivery apps like Fantuan, and are often running promotions such as free baked pork on rice for orders over $40. Highly recommend!

Excellent HK-style cafe with a variety of comfort foods. I personally enjoy their fish noodle soup, but their Hainan chicken rice and Pork chop rice are my usual go-to's as well. Their russian borscht soup is so satisfying on a cold winter day.

The service staff was super nice and friendly but I ordered a laksa noodle soup and the soup base was totally not laksa. Tasted more like satay/chili. My friends got pork chops with rice and chicken taro coconut rice and those were really good.

I enjoy coming here for breakfast because it is comfortable and quick. My favorite dish is the satay beef vermicelli in soup, scrambled eggs with toast, and a cup of Hong Kong tea. The prices are very reasonable. Reserva una mesa ahora
