Ming’s Lounge - Reserva de mesa

When I visit my friends in Altotting we never fail to go to Ming's for dinner. For a restaurant that is "off the beaten track" it is quite rightly busy in the evening and it is wise to make a booking. The dining room has about 20 or so tables, some "sharing" and room for a few more at the bar. The menu has traditional favorites and the blackboard specials add another two or three choices. For the quality, you simply cannot find better value. The place always has a "buzz" and part of it is the charasmatic Ming. He always will great you with a smile and makes sure you are taken care of... in the few times our table wasn't ready he was quick with a complimentary cocktail and spent time with us....

I have been to Ming's many times and it always was a great and fun experience, culinary and otherwise. If you ask me, Ming is the only host in town that understands his trade.Great Thai-style food (try the duck with red Thai curry) and cocktails, nice ambiance, lunch menus at great prices and great service will definitely make you want to come back. If you plan to go for dinner, better reserve, because his place is usually packed in the evening (which is not the case for any other restaurant in this town).

Friday evening in Altoetting. We were looking for a dinner location where you did actually not look at a church. Following the reviews from TripAdvisor we gave Ming's a chance. Even without reservation, we got a nice table for two. The service was super friendly. The decoration and interior a nice mix of asian style and lounge ambiance. The food was excellent. Spicy is for real, the sirloin steak with peanut sauce is a dream!Thank you for a great dinner. We'll be back!

I didn't expect to find good Asian food in a small Bavarian town, but Ming's was a pleasant surprise. My aunt took me there for lunch midweek. It was clearly popular with the business lunch crowd. The food was very good -- I had the duck which was delicious. Its served on little hot plates with plenty of rice and a range of spiciness. Totally reasonable pricing, and friendly service. Visiting friends we wanted to treat them to dinner. They suggested Mings and we took them. Wonderful, friendly service and big menu. Entrees were tasty and well presented. Cocktails and wines were very good. Ordered beef curry for main. Spicy, fresh and attractive. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Would most definitely return here if have the opportunity.

Decor is very night clubby. Close to downtown. Food was nice. Service excellent. The tom yum was very spicy when asked. Delish!
