After hearing one of my friends rave about Minia's in Montclair, I decided to check out the original location in Bloomfield. My breakfast sandwich with bacon, egg, and cheese was quite good. However, I was EXTREMELY disappointed with the chicken and waffles I ordered for dinner later. The five wing dings were incredibly small, resembling child-sized pieces rather than regular ones (I’ve attached a picture of theirs on top and the ones I purchased from Foodtown below for comparison). If the price had matched the portion size, I wouldn't have minded as much, but for over $15, I expected more. Was a nice surprise, Uruguayan tipe of food, had a Milanesa al plato breaded chicken) abundant , nice presentation with ensalada rusa tipe of Russian potato salad) and some greens. Finish with a double espresso, next time I'll try the Chivito steak sandwich) great place, manage and run by women , very efficient, I like to support places like this.
I?ve been coming to Minias for about 5 years and the food has always been delicious along with Great service. The Chivito Uruguayo is one of my favorites and their homemade chipotle sauce is to die for. I would also recommend their Mangu on the weekends. Definitely a must try place
Be careful eating here because they overcharge. Ask for a receipt. Was charged extra 6$ for an extra piece of turkey bacon a breakfast wrap. Mind, turkey bacon is cheaper than pork bacon but they hike up the price anyways. Makes no sense.

To be such a small space the welcoming energy and amazing smells fill you up before you can even taste their homemade goodness. Everyone reading it should take steps through their doors you will not be disappointed.
The fries were decent but could use a little more crispiness. The breakfast sandwich was tasty, and the lunch bowl was also quite enjoyable. The steak was excellent, and the sauce was really impressive.
This is a lovely casual restaurant in Bloomfield. They serve delicious breakfast sandwiches, and their coffee is exceptional. I particularly recommend trying their iced Colombian coffee.
This place manages what many restaurants can not, and is to keep consistent good and flavorful food.

Eggs was good. Please change brand of turkey bacon. Turkey Bacon wasnt good.
The grilled chicken always bomb ! Love it but the brownie was dry and old
