Minskys Hotel - Reserva de mesa

I believe that Minskys was the old Cremorne Hotel which has now been refurbished and modernised. Decided to go there instead of the Oaks as I believe the Oaks is overrated somewhat albeit a beautiful hotel. The service was excellent and the "special" (rump steak) was great for $15 and the food generally was of a good price and tasty. Like all hotels though the only let down is the price of drinks which is always exorbitant. Will decide in future just to have water and enjoy the meal. Lunch was $126 where the breakdown was $58 and the rest made up of drinks which was 2 beers, 2 bourbons, 1 scotch and 2 wines which makes each drink about $10 each - toooooooo expensive. Ive been a couple of times now and its simply a convenience place really. A sort of land mark because its been around a long time in various forms. Nothing much to want to make you keep coming back . Nothing to make you want to make it your regular. Its simply an ok bar that lacks any sort of character. Its not cosy but its not a big festive space. Its got some reasonably fun live music nights that are ok. The drinks are ok and the service is ok. I cant complain about it but I wouldn't 'bust a gut' to get back to it. Handy if you're a local though and no reason not to visit.

Four of us ate lunch at Minsky's after having travelled (overnight) from the US while waiting to check in to our lodging. The bar staff was great! Fun folks, friendly, and eager to make us feel welcome to Sydney. The food and drinks were quite good and reasonably priced. A rather eclectic, if small, range of dishes. But, all our meals were very good. If we get back to Sydney, we'll definitely eat at Minsky's again!

Popped in for a quick meal on a friend's recommendation. Very happy with the quality of food which is fresh, inexpensive pub fare. Highly recommend you pop in for a bite - nice layout - comfortable and extremely clean! Great coffee too! Reserva una mesa ahora

Very good food and check the website for daily specials, these provide good value. Drinks at pub prices so very affordable. Also has specialty wines to spoil yourself.

Beer is expensive over $7 except for happy hour when it returns to normal prices $5 to $6. Ordered food Table service yes but no utensils or napkins delivered.

Yeah, it's Minsky's, but this is getting five glorious stars because it's just a balls-out good time, the kind it's hard to find in Sydney anymore. Reserva una mesa ahora

Went for lunch a couple of times. Food was pretty good, and the service was friendly. Beer in plastic glasses at night was a bit of a turn off.

Not a large menu but a range of dishes. Prices were reasonable and service was good. We enjoyed our meal and would certainly go back again.
