Cafe Mira - Reserva de mesa

As others have said this is a couple of minutes from the riverside and tourist trap restaurant but for that it was very busy when we visited later on on a Sunday evening. The tapas were terrific and overall the value of the meal was very good. We had Tuna Tartare and some bread and olives to start (sorry no photos) but the tuna was excellent. Then barbecue octopus and prawns with a honey and ginger sauce. Both were really tasty. The staff were friendly and we also had a bottle of red. Total bill was €73. Pretty good value.

we arrived late in tavira, in desperate need of tapas. saw mira on tripadvisor and went there from the hotel. choose them tapas from the menu. all of them very innovative and well prepared. they served them in the order that was clever. we had a long conversation with the owners, a charming young couple. apparently they constantly introduce new tapas into the menu. this place is a must for visitors in tavira.

The Food was very good and tasty. We only had some tapas and green wine from the area. The gambas, baby squid and oysters were very fresh and tasty. I loved the goat cheese topped with a kind of pumpkin jam on a slice of fresh apple.

Loved it. Great food and staff. Very friendly. We ate the day special tuna lasagna. Kids got fish. Perfect for some tapas or light lunch.
