Mirabilis - Reservar una mesa

We had the €25 menu with 3 glasses of selected wine for another €15. Portions were generous and the food was well cooked & delicious. The salmon tartar was very fresh & looked stunning. Only negative was the duck was a little over done. I loved the desserts which were a selection of mini desserts. The wines were all delicious & complimented the food well.However for such a fantastic restaurant the service really lets them down. Twice we had to ask for water before we got it & each course we had to remind them about our accompanying wine.....very poor. But don't let this put you off. It's great value for the food they serve.

Visited in September 2012. The restaurant looks very ordinary from the road, but it's not ordinary inside and the food is far from ordinary. Excellent range of well priced menus starting at 20 euros. Well priced, good quality wines. The service was excellent; the waiter did not speak English, but could not have been more helpful. Think we went for the mid price menu at about 30 euros, beautiful presentation, and the sort of taste you expect from high quality French cooking. The interior of the restaurant is comfortable and interesting. A must visit if you are in the area, and worth a journey, excellent value.

Coming in Mirebel you can trust the owners of restaurant Mirabilis to serve you the best meal for your budget, with the good wine that mach your courses. The chef is a good connoisseur of jura wine (specially "vin jaune" ) cooking, he is also very good in fish cooking.

A restaurant making great gastronomic food at affordable price. Only improvement could be the service which is not at the same standards than a gastronomic. But really worth going there.
