I've spoken to the manager about this in the past, and I hoped this problem would be rectified, but sadly it is still happening. The portions are very inconsistent when ordering delivery. For example, when I order a side of spaghetti squash, the whole container is usually full. It's at least a cup and a half of spaghetti squash. Today, it was 1/3 of a cup. I measured it for nearly five dollars! It's wasn't even enough to feed a toddler. I also ordered a side of meatballs. In the past, sometimes I get five, sometimes I get three, and today I only got two. TWO! Same with the shrimp. We only received four small shrimp today for SIX dollars. That's absurd. This might not seem like a big deal but when you order food with the intention of sharing, you do so based on the amount that you usually receive. When I spoke to the manager, he suggested that I call after I place my order (to remind them of past issues and ensure it doesn't happen again). I do this every time, the person on the phone never lets me talk, talks over me, and is clearly not listening to what I'm saying and our orders are still inconsistent and/or wrong. It's also worth mentioning that we eat very early, so I'm not calling during prime times when they're busy. The person answering the phone just doesn't care. In fact, one time I asked to speak to the manager, and she didn't know her own managers name. Customer service is definitely a problem here! Also, we've always loved the Caesar salad and include it in every single order. A Caesar salad is a simple, and ingredients matter. In the past, they've used freshly shaved Parmesan that was absolutely delicious. It honestly made the whole salad! I don't know what kind of cheese they are using now, but it definitely isn't Parmesan. And if it is, it's such bad quality that it doesn't resemble Parmesan in any way, both in the way it looks and the way it tastes. It was also way too much! Normally, one wouldn't complain about having too much Parmesan, especially if it's good quality and delicious. It looked like someone just reached into a container and dumped a cup of this terrible cheese on top of our salad. I'm in the food industry, and I'm well aware of the fact that restaurants change things, but it seems like they're changing things to save money, the food is going downhill, and these inconsistencies in the amount you receive (even though you're paying exactly the same or more) are simply not acceptable. We have been long time, loyal customers, and this will be the last time we order from Mirko.
