What a treat ! This place features a full-on vegan menu that is actually reasonably priced. We delighted in all 3 tacos and all 3 empanadas. The patrons next to us had burritos and they looked gigantic (the burritos that is, not the patrons). We ordered the sweet empanadas on the way out, and we discovered that the lovely owners treated us to 2 extras on the house. Can’t wait to come back to try all the rest ! Update — came back a second time after being picked up at PDX. Tried the torta Al Pastor, delicious ! My friend got the chimi burrito. that's been on my list for a long time and I was excited to try it out. I got the chimi burrito, not fried, a Friijoles-Tacco, and my man only got the Asada-Tac because he had a late lunch. we also ordered two drinks, the lyn may and the tesorito. All we got, we loved so much. and the staff was super friendly, even while it was really busy. read another review that said they didn't. Maybe it was a bad day. I live a few hours away, but in any case again when I go in the opposite side.
My family and I tried this restaurant for the first time today and we absolutely loved it. The decor was colorful, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious. I have been looking for a place that values the quality of their food, and this place definitely shows that they put love into their dishes. Thank you, Mis Tacones, for becoming our new favorite spot.
I lived over some Mexican border in san diego for 35 years. once a month or so I would skip and get some of the best Mexican food. there were some vegan Mexican places in tijuana, and this beacon is on place with the best of the best. they were trying to finish our plates, but wanted to save some for later. that is so good. cute place with a good menu. had the asada burrito. it is great and delicious. many things in the menu sound good. there are thoughtful touches, including free feminine hygiene products and bandages in the bathroom, and free stickers and sweets on the counter. had a decent amount of outdoor seating in the shadow.
