From the moment we walked through the door and were greeted warmly by our server Megan we experienced above average and personal service. She helped us work around the restrictions of a gluten free diet, and was very knowledgeable about the menu and ingredients in the dishes which could cause a problem. The Tuna Tataki and the Miso Bomb Roll were our favorites, but the presentation and taste of the Spicy Miso Chicken, the Calamari Roll and the Spicy Sushi Cake were great too. We were invited as guests of a birthday celebration, and had no idea what to expect. Our hosts had planned dinner with Fiona in advance, and I was a little apprehensive as I do not enjoy sushi, but I decided I would eat whatever was served. The evening started with cocktails and passed hors d'ouevres while our group mingled. The first thing that was passed was the tuna tataki, OMG.... some serious flavours going on here! We visited in January and returned this past Saturday evening in June for Dinner. We were impressed with the presentation and quality. The place was full, and everyone seemed to be enjoying their food. We like the layout of the restaurant with a large bar area and does not a traditional sushi "look" to the place. The best starter to me is the eggplant with Dengaku Miso -- its something you don't typically see, and its delicious. The Sushi Miso and Mania Dishes were excellent and very fresh. We shared a series of rolls including the rainbow and spider rolls with a nice pint of Sapporo on Draft. Service was excellent. Well worth it !

Had lunch with a friend here a few weeks ago. This restaurant was recommended by a friend on several occasions. I love sushi and tempura so was really looking forward to this. The tempura was great so was the miso soup and presentation. The rest of the was ok and when I commented to the server he mentioned that they were in the midst of hiring new staff in the kitchen. This is my go-to Sushi spot in Oakville. We have never had a bad meal there. The sashimi is always super fresh and the staff is very helpful with recommendations and are open to minor mods. The eggplant appetizer is a must try, and the spicy sushi combo plate is the best value around. Super fresh rice and solid sake selection. Owner's are always working and they are an absolute pleasure to chat with. Keep it up guys!

Always a treat and this time with old neighbours. Blow torched mackerel, great app as always but the kids loved it so it was all gone. Volcano roll, amazing with all the sashimi bits. Shrimp rock, a must, should have ordered two. Cucumber seafood roll, food art and refreshing in the summer. Shochu and grapefruit, does it come in a more manly glass (ps don't really care it's delicious).

Wow - the entire menu is a taste sensation. From Kimchee Salad (think healthy probiotics), to Volcano and Miso Mountain, Tuna Tataki - way too many choices, you will find yourself planning your next visit while you are there. Great selection of fine Saki wines. You won't be disappointed. Quaint atmosphere, courteous staff.

We were a party of 5 on a Wednesday evening; glad we made reservations because restaurant was full. My first time there. I will definitely go back. The wait staff were amazing and the sushi was fantastic. The shrimp rock roll was by far my favourite as was the volcano! Definitely recommend. Definitely will return!! Reserva una mesa ahora

The owners are amazingly great! The place has a great atmosphere and honestly the food was delicious. The flaviours were a delight!! Super recommendable! We had the bento lunch and we were amazed by the amount of delicious food we got!!

We have visited this restaurant several times- and we are never disappointed. The owners are ever present, attentive and professional. The food, sushi is best- but everything is great. I will return yet again.
