I've enjoyed Chef Stephanie Tyson's food for years, mourning the loss of menu items like eggs sardou, a temporary loss of mambo chicken sandwiches, and the best **** mary in town made by the best bartender/manager/brunch date (Kathy, you are missed! WS could know. Now that I live in Ohio, I'm grateful I have Chef Tyson's cookbooks up north with me even if I have to drive back to NC now and then to stock up on grits and smoked turkey wings (and of course plan a meetup with friends at Sweet Potatoes while I'm in town . The chicken is fried perfectly golden and not too salty. Greens are absolutely perfect and those biscuits are to die for. They even stuck a few pieces of fatback in the box for my grandmother bringing back so many memories for her. And the staff is very kind excellent job!

The food is delicious and the staff is friendly. Surprise! You can eat in and watch them fry chicken if there is room at the bar. You probably won't be able to finish the lunch box in one sitting. Don't forget dessert.

THE best home cooking I've had in a long time! The chicken is perfect and the mac n cheese is up there too! I would highly recommend to anyone who loves delicious homemade meals!
