Definitely worth the wait! Be prepared for a significant wait time at this restaurant. If it's over 40 minutes, you can easily pass the time by exploring the sights across the street; they will send you a text when your table is ready. Miss Shirley's boasts a wide variety of unique dishes, and you might find yourself wanting to return frequently, lol. They even offer GLUTEN-FREE pancakes in all flavors! We savored the Blueberry Pancakes with White Chocolate Chips and indulged ourselves while enjoying plenty of nearby attractions to help burn off those calories. We also tried their special Maple Sausage, made exclusively for Miss Shirley's.
The food was fantastic, as were the breakfast drinks. It was VERY busy on Sunday, but they still managed to seat us as quickly as they could. The staff was really friendly and good at what they did. My only two negatives were the QR code menu (although they did let us use paper ones on the second visit), and that at least one of the seating areas was all hard surfaces, which makes thing really noisy, something I don't enjoy at all, especially not when eating. That said, the place was great and I'm going back there if I'm that way again.
Some of the best breakfast I’ve ever had. Miss Shirley’s is a must if in Baltimore. The food is fantastic. My favorite is the chicken and waffles. Such a savory dish. Comfort food at its best. You won’t be disappointed whatever you choose. I wish i had one near me. Keep up the good work. Hopefully see you again soon.
Food is OK, but the lack of attention to detail is what makes it hard to justify the price they charge. I mean, I asked for cheese in my grits and someone threw a slice of American cheese over a mound of grits. The deviled eggs come out sloppy. Just kind of lacking for a place you're going to pay $20-25 per plate.

This restaurant is a must-visit whenever I'm in the Baltimore Harbor area. The food is excellent, the service is outstanding, and I always have a great time. I highly recommend checking out one of their locations for breakfast, brunch, or lunch if you're in Baltimore. You won't be disappointed!
Our server suggested the deviled eggs. They had chicken on top with some honey drizzled. At first I wasn’t sure….But, when the combination of flavors burst in my mouth! Wow! Delicious! The on site staff were all amazing. Our food was fantastic! We’ll definitely be back!
The Food and service was amazing my friends and I were visiting from Virginia. We enjoyed ourselves. When we come back to Baltimore we will definitely come back!!
Small restaurant and pricey but food is delicious! We always look forward to breakfast there! The grits are the best!!
