I like to think I’m qualified to discuss good bbq as I am from South Carolina. I eat bbq at least one a week. While in the Fort Lauderdale area, we wanted bbq and found they had a Mission. I have eaten at other locations. This one is located in a busy area along a busy hiway. They have inside and outside tables. The outside is noisy because of the traffic. We ate inside but they had the air conditioning running at about 65 degrees. It was chilly. We went to the counter and place our order. They yell your name when the food it ready. What struck me most was the extensive collection of military memorabilia displayed throughout the restaurant, reflecting their steadfast support for our courageous service members. We visited the restaurant based on friends’ recommendations, and we absolutely loved it. The food was fantastic, and the staff was incredible. They really went out of their way to make our experience special. When they learned it was our first time there, they offered us samples of the sides, all of which were delicious. We've visited several times, and the service, atmosphere, and food have been excellent right from our first visit, ensuring we'll keep coming back. The restaurant has a strong sense of patriotism and is very welcoming to police and military personnel, which is evident throughout the space. For takeout lunch, the price per person ranges from $10 to $20.

Great service, fantastic food. Had the pulledpork sandwich N.C. style. (Coleslaw) on top, bbq beans mac and cheese all were terrific! Server heard me talking to cashier about choosing which side to try and brought over a sampling of all the other side items!!! Very impressed! Peach ? cobbler was great and I enjoyed the mashed potatoes and greens a lot.

The food was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was very relaxed, making for a pleasant experience. The meat was cooked to perfection, and I have no complaints about this wonderful afternoon. I highly recommend it! Food rating: 5/5.

I absolutely love their pulled pork and brisket! So far, this is definitely my favorite BBQ spot in the area.
