Mississippi River Bottom

We stopped in on a Wednesday night in July based on the recommendation of a tour guide (Derek Cajun Encounters) …we had the Crawfish Mac n Cheese and the Gumbo with Potato Salad…both were DELICIOUS…but I will dream about the Gumbo…SERIOUSLY! We ate a lot of YUMMY food around the city and we can say we honestly didn’t have any bad food…but the MRB Chicken and Sausage Gumbo with Potato Salad was both my husband’s and my MOST FAVORITE meal the whole trip….we are sad we only made our way to MRB the night before we left! Definitely visit them and try the GUMBO!

Got off work was hungry hubby said let's go eat so I looked for 24 hour places came across few places then decide to go MRB (Our first time here in French Quarters)....We ordered the Philly cheese and greens catfish po boy with gumbo wanted oysters but they stop 10. Everything was good ...we got drinks and the bartenders was VERY NICE . Our new friends Katie, and Astrid. We will be coming back. Nice environment. Everyone was very nice friendly, we are drunk lol! Will be back for the oysters.

This is the Only place in the French Quarter you should eat at. Awesome, consistently good food (also hands down the Best oysters anywhere in town every single time), super friendly staff, chill atmosphere. You'll be surely remiss if you eat elsewhere.

My girlfriend and I love this bar. I found a slug on my elbow. 10/10 Food is legitimately bussin and drinks are well priced.
