I had worked myself into a burger cravings by lunchtime and the sun was out, but where do you find a good burger at lunchtime in Freo that isn’t a chain? I ventured off the track to Mister Finch and found a Café with lots of hidden rooms and a large front verandah. As I was almost the only diner at the time, I had pick of the place. I went out front on the couch after ordering the slow cooked beef brisket burger with house made BBQ sauce and the Zinger juice with orange, ginger, carrot, apple and lemon. Nice, simple affair I had the soup of the day (lentil and veggies) which was a warm comfort meal on a chilly winters day. to me is a little expensive(no price on menu so just had to hope for a good price when I went up to buy however, the range of rolls and sandwiches seemed better priced and looked very tasty, as did the cakes and muffins. The decor is cute and quaint. Overall, a decent cafe with a tasty looking menu
serve many beautiful caffes that is much better in fremantle. we ordered the polenta with poachierten eiern in pesto and the big breakfast. the polenta plate was alarmingly salty and had too much sauce. once mixed with the egg yolk from the eggs, the polnta was only swimming in the whole liquid and was quite unpleasant to eat. large breakfast was very common. coffee was good and the street location was beautiful.
the best part of this place is the street-side seating. the staff is friendly and helpful, but some of the choices are simply normal. I hadn't had much luck with the lunches, as they were pretty bland and/or oily, but nice enough for cake and coffee. I would still drink a coffee and just sit on the veranda, but probably after I had some lunch or breakfast somewhere.

grilled sweet salad, ice cream, white chic and skyscrap cake, gigantic slim latte. good, fast and friendly service. reasonable prices and a beautiful location. I love the mood of this caffe. look forward to coming back and tasting some of their other meal times.
so many possibilities for breakfast and lunch. such a pretty little holiday home come caffe, definitiw a visit worth when they are in the opposite of fremantle and are in the mood to treat themselves to a high quality food!
Sitting out the front was a great choice, especially early in the morning when its still decently cool. Coffee was pretty good and the staff were nice. The breakfast food was also good, and came very quickly!
Lunch was poor but breakfast might be better. Just don't order the uninspired and expensive chicken burger which comes with chicken, lettuce and the tomato lid. However, the avocado toast was better.

Lovely atmosphere at Breakfast this morning. Food was great. Staff friendly. All meal ready at same time which is great. Thanks will return.
Been here a few times with friends. Great service and lovely meal. Price is great for what you get. No complaints. A recommend must try!!!!!
