After visiting Mistral in the winter we loved it so much that we decided to come back for our anniversary. This time (June 25th) the food was extremely salty. We cook every day and we enjoy salted food, but this was next level, as if it had accidentally been salted twice. Both dishes (agnolotti, steak) were beautifully plated and prepared, except for the excessive saltiness. We could not taste the other ingredients. We also were surprised that a place that emphasizes fresh ingredients, quality, and presentation would still have the same things on the menu as our previous visit, including winter vegetables (such as butternut squash) in the summertime.
