Mistral - Reservar una mesa

During my year in Boston, I visited a restaurant that served the best food I've ever had. The pre-dinner bread was delicious, and the dishes like escargot, mussels, duck, and steak were all perfect. The wasabi-flavored potatoes that came with the steak were amazing, and the risotto under the duck had the perfect mushroom aroma and texture. My friends from Hong Kong recommended this place, and it has left me with a truly special memory.

I needed a private and quiet restaurant for a one on one business dinner. Mistral staff helped me find the perfect table, and staff were respectful of my needs. Service staff was excellent, there when I needed them but not intrusive. Dinner was excellent flavorful, unique, good portions and timed well not too fast or too slow. Would highly recommend this restaurant for business dinners or a romantic get away.

Wonderful cuisine and service in a Boston classic. Not inexpensive, but perfect for that special occasion. Can be active and noisy, so you may want to request a table along the far wall, away from the bar. Wonderful entrees include the halibut and the duck. The mussels appetizer is special, as are the profiteroles for dessert.

We have had great experience with this restaurant over time. However, last evening we had one appetizer (foie gras) and one entree (duck) that were substandard. We will continue to recommend Mistral to friends based on past experience and the assumption that this most recent experience was a one-off .

We enjoyed our experience. The food and service were excellent. The prices on the check did not match the menu prices. Not unreasonable prices but misrepresenting prices is not ok.
