After a very long day we stopped by in this restaurant to grab some food. We found a table alone. Noone from the staff approched to us for another 15 minutes. We were completely ignored. Apparently, we needed a reservation, but it was surprising since the restaurant was half full. Noone had decency to explain us the policy of the restaurant. A member of a group approached to the waiter, who was giving vague explanations about taking orders and avoided to answer any questions a member asked him. The staff required from us to change the tables and the orders weren't taken for another 10 minutes. We got our food almost after 50 minutes. The staff members treated us poorly. The communication was downright unprofessional. The food itself wasn't bad at all, but the waiter who served us didn't behave as a hospitality professional. Ispite of decent food, I suggest avoiding the restaurant.
This review is a little late, we visited in September 2019 but only just getting round to writing this. The restaurant is a little out of the way but worth taking the time to find. We went for Saturday lunch, there were probably 5-6 other tables occupied. We sat on one of the high tables looking into the kitchen and tried one of the tasting menus with matching wines. The quality of the food and cooking was outstanding. Each course was well presented and there was enough of it. Wines were different and not was I would have chosen but different in a positive way and showed off different Spanish wine makers. Service was great and I think overall good value for money. I would highly recommend based on this visit.
What a chaos! Booked and got the confirmation for a reservation with a dog. When we came to the restaurant they informed us that we cannot have the dog with us not even on the terrace. The staff have absolutely no clue whatsoever about anything. When I asked why was my reservation approved even though I specified we have a dog they couldn’t give any answer. On top of that the staff English is really bad. They could barely articulate a couple of words in English. Awful experience. If you have a dog and want to take it here simply don’t!! It will ruin your evening. NOT recommending this place. Unprofessional and not so well spoken staff.
Never had I ordered an item at a restaurant and the server just brings whatever she likes instead of informing me that they did not have my choice. This happened at Tilia at a dinner. Staff were informed but seem unconcerned. Food was way overpriced. I knew prices might be higher at this hotel restaurant but this still was too high for what I got. $25 US for one beer and 2 appetizers. I would not recommend and would never go back there. Skip this place and go into the city as there is nothing else nearby.
