Very fast and friendly service, the food was amazing and one of the only times I've gone to a diner with free coffee refills and the coffee doesn't taste like water.The serving sizes were large and well worth their price and I'm so sad that I found this gem of a restaurant a week before moving away from valley stream.If you're looking for a lovely place for breakfast/brunch look no further!I've yet to try their lunch/dinner but I had their Quiche as well as their corned beef hash and Caesar salad. We came to this place because it was the only diner in the area that had banana split (based on our Google search). The banana split itself was awesome but the food was just ok. The omelette was overcooked and under-seasoned. The service was great though we had to wait quite a bit for our order to arrive. The one thing that was disappointing was the ‘gratuity charge’ that was already included in the bill. It was like 20% gratuity. It was in the gratuity range but still we’d rather decide ourselves as to how much we’d like to tip. I appreciate the pleasant ambiente that shows mitchell's performances. there is never a time when I come and I am not greeted happily by a worker. I love that I am almost always able to sit down and that a waiter is ready for me in no time. I always get my favorites, the classic truthahnburger with salat, tomaten and cheese, with a side of Steak-Fries and let them tell them I wasn't at any point in the last 10 times here haha I'm always here! this is one of my favorite spots in valley stream.
all the way, except for the waitress. kitchen slowly and do not follow orders that are written. the food presentation was unacceptable. Bus boys have a job and are lazy! ac didn't seem to work everyone was sweating! the manager/owner doesn't seem to care, he just likes to collect the money! my first and last visit this place!

brunch was tasty, I had laughs with broccoli and grits yummy! large portions, affordable prices, beautifully spiced, and attentive waiting staff. all they want to experience in their dining room. I can't expect to eat here again and try more entrees on the menu.
The food was amazing. We stopped in several times over our trip. We always had the best wait staff, and the food was always perfect. Their ice cream is great.Next time I am out that way, i plan to return.
Refreshingly delicious! They have the BEST macaroni salad side dish!!! Everything we tried over 4 days was excellent. That's pretty amazing. The staff is fun and friendly!
a great dinner. it hit the spot. had a french wobbler suppe and rock steak with 2 sunny side eggs with one side. I'm happy.
