Mitsuwa Marketplace

There's lots to offer at this place. The market place has a whole cafeteria with a large variety of different foods to order, a cozy bakery with tons of Japanese pastries you will want to try, an anime book store, and a whole grocery store with Japanese foods you have probably never heard or seen of in your life as an American. This place is awesome and has something to offer for everybody. (I also have to mention that the people who work there were very kind too).

We also enjoyed lunch together at Santouka, where we all had ramen. I opted for the spicy ramen, which turned out to be one of the best I’ve had in a long time. It was made with fresh ingredients and had just the right amount of spice—not so overpowering that it detracted from the dish. I savored every last bite and drop of broth. I'm looking forward to returning with my family soon! Mitsuwa Market is such a wonderful local spot for shopping and enjoying a meal!

The ambiance is quite lively, and while the service might take some time to prepare the food, overall it's a good experience. The food is delicious and you can't go wrong with any of the vendors. It tends to get crowded on weekends, so I recommend visiting on a weekday instead. Just be mindful of the operating hours to avoid ending up when the vendors are closed.

We have really only looked around at the market and the bought the sweets. It is an amazing place to see. They literally have everything there. I can say that all the sweets I got both times were out of this world. More too come. We are going there again. They do have a good size restaurant court area. Reserva una mesa ahora

Fantastic authentic food and groceries. The Food Square area has tons of fantastic options. It gets crazy packed and busy, so be prepared for a wait.

Good selection of grocery. High quality. But expensive. There is a food court providing good Asian meals but some close quite early.
