It wasn't worth the money or the hype. We went for a night dinner and how you can see from the photos, the ?wagyu? was not fresh and had black edges. Their main boiled seafood dish was a mixed set of shells, crab legs, potatoes and cancer that had no taste. Overall, the store had 3 large sections for food, sushi, hot food and raw ingredients for hotpot. There is no way for you to skip on the hotpot and the hotpot was only very, very moderate. They have not hired a professional sushi cook and their sushi pieces have been rolled in Swiss rolls with mostly rice hardly ingredients. No Sashimi served only nigiris. This is mostly an AYCE hotpot place with sushi and a small variety of dishes to choose from the hot bar. I thought the dishes were decent for a buffet and had some good choices (e.g. deep-fried soft shell crab, sautéed crab on sauce, LA Kalbi, etc). Their sushi selection was also big on variety, but I think the rolls were lacking a little in both taste and execution. Several of my rolls fell apart and everything fell out to the point where I had to eat each filling separately. I also felt like several of them tasted similar without much distinction in palates between them. You don't need to read my review to know that Mizumi is one of the best buffets on Long Island. They have a buffet area, a large sushi selection, and a variety of ingredients for hot pot at the table. They do an excellent job with all three, keeping everything in stock, clean, and not crowded. We initially came for the sushi, but were pleasantly surprised by the hot pot option as well. We visited on a weeknight and had a short wait, but it was well worth it. At $35 per person, it may seem pricey, but the quality and quantity of food make it worth the cost (especially compared to nearby buffets with far less to offer). It's worth the drive and the money.

This is a fantastic sushi restaurant with a wide variety of sushi and sashimi options. They also offer hot pots at each table. The service is self-service so the staff was efficient. The sushi is very fresh and they offer a great selection. During my visit at noon, the restaurant was packed with mostly Asian patrons. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys sushi and Asian cuisine. I will definitely be returning when I am in the area again. Reserva una mesa ahora

All you can eat lunch for $27 and it includes meats!! This place is amazing and has all the essential hot pot food items and sauces. They also have a cooked food bar which has delicious items too if you have the room for it! The only thing I wish was better was the ice cream machine. It?s not actually ice cream but rather yogurt and it was a little sour which we all thought was a bit off but was assured it was normal

My wife and I had a terrific dinner at Mizumi recently with our 11 year old daughter. The sushi was fresh and delicious, and the cooked Japanese entrees were great as well. The miso glazed Chilean Sea Bass in particular was excellent, as was the salmon teriyaki. We found Mizumi to be a great environment for my daughter, who is a picky eater but was able to try lots and lots of different Japanese dishes.

Ignore all the haters!! For $35 this is an amazing deal for everything they offer. It has all kinds of sliced meats for hotpot (including wagyu beef included), fish balls, mushrooms, veggies, sushi, cooked foods, noodles! They even have a big station dedicated to making your own custom sauces. Service was great, the meal was satisfying. I would definitely come back.

The place in amazing. Just 1 complaint after driving 1 hour and 10 mins to eat at this restaurant. They push you out the door when we are finished eating. We go with fiends and they want to relax for a while before driving back. The waiter last time asked for the table. NOT HAPPY ABOUT THAT WE PAY JUST LIKE EVYONE ELSE... The food here is pretty good, with a variety of sushi and hot options available. However, the drinks are quite pricey and there is a time limit of 1.5 hours. I ordered the delicious Daishi hotpot and my family and I had a great time at this affordable restaurant.

Great all-you-can-eat place!! They have a nice selection of sushi and rolls, hot foods and a lot of variety to choose from for hot pot. Fresh ingredients. I pretty much enjoyed everything. Make sure to bring your appetite!
