I had high expectations based on the reviews, but sadly, we were disappointed. We ordered the beef brisket curry bowl and the noodle beef bowl, along with takoyaki and spring rolls. The curry bowl was mostly rice—around 85%—and the brisket was excessively fatty. The noodle bowl was similar, mostly filled with noodles and lacking other ingredients. Neither dish wowed us. Given the prices, I anticipated better quality. On a brighter note, the banana milk tea was quite enjoyable.
I dined at this restaurant after my visit to the MFA. I ordered the salt and pepper pork chops with fried rice, and it was merely average. The rice had a slightly crispy texture, which was unexpected, but it might just be part of their unique style. I also tried the chicken gizzard skewers, and they were quite delicious. Overall, I would give the food a rating of 3 out of 5.
I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The ambiance is charming, the food is delightful, and the staff is exceptionally friendly. I particularly loved the beef chopped udon noodles; they were amazing! I was full in no time! Overall, I would give the food a definite 5 out of 5.
