I ordered food for five people and had to wait half an hour. There were seven or eight people with smaller orders and an Uber Eats delivery person who came after me but received their food before me. The chips were dry and unappetizing. I only came here because my usual fish and chip shop was closed. Overall, I was not impressed and will not be returning. I highly do not recommend this place.
great chippy excellent eating freshly cooked, although they need to do something about the young girl behind the theke, to friends and family hanging around there and a good established her should not wear nail varnish and should consent to service customers and not chat. also putting 2 pieces of fish together in a bag is obviously a problem sticking together. not happy.
,Have been going to Moby Dicks for over 30 years, I can honestly say its so bad since it has been taken over. Paid £2 for a bag of scraps and anything that resembled a chip was rock hard. Should have gone to St James good value for money and excellent food. Wont be going to this shop again.
Went in today, the new girl is serving everything a size below! Ordered a medium and got a small and didn't realise until I had got back to the office. The chips were to share so pretty disappointed. I'll consider somewhere else for a while. Reserva una mesa ahora
The cafe is quite (I think unintentionally) on trend with its 80s vibe of orange and brown decor great we loved it! Very basic menu but food was freshly cooked and hot, generous portions, reasonably priced and friendly, efficient service.
We didn't dine in, but instead had our food delivered. Unfortunately, Tripadvisor doesn't allow me to include this experience in my review. The food at this restaurant is consistently excellent, with the best fish and chips in the area.
Each of us ordered the haddock and small chips at the restaurant. The fish was cooked to order, of good quality and had a crispy batter. The portion size was also satisfying. They had Covid precautions in place as well.
Ordered a large portion of chips to share as normally in any other chip shop that is enough. But the large portion here is a joke! Barley enough for one person! Won't be going here again for sure Reserva una mesa ahora
Used to go St James Fish&Chips, but they changed hands therefore tried out Moby Dick and was really pleased ...Amazing fish and chips.... lovely customer service ... would highly recommend!
