Unbelievable my local sushi spot seems to be full of crooks. I've been here several times as I really enjoy some of their rolls, but I've noticed a number of times now, and decided to write this review after my most recent experience, that they grossly overcharge me for my order (today was $6 over on a $20 order! . I often realise it as I'm walking to the car, and shame on me for not turning around for my refund but curiosity struck and I read reviews of this restaurant and several others have complained of being overcharged! They clearly know what they are doing, and it's shameful. Don't support this kind of business buy your sushi elsewhere.
tried this place again, as it looks like he had new owners. the last time that the seafood was frozen when they were served, and that was generally only contaminated and dry. Unfortunately, nothing has changed. This time the seafood was not yet frozen, but it was certainly not fresh. the garnel and calamari were like hard rubber and the sushi was dry and unpalatable. the best was the wrong suppe that I suspect was from a package, they recommend this place only if they are extremely desperate for Japanese food. Good luck.
I didn't even place an order because the girl at the counter (on January 7 at 8 PM) was so rude that we decided to leave. During a time like this, when businesses may be eager for customers, it's disappointing to not be treated with respect. I'm a local and have been trying to support this place for a long time, but now I won't be coming back. There are plenty of other sushi restaurants in the area to choose from.
Worst japanese restaurant ever. I went there for lunch. Order tuna sushi and it has no cucumber or any other deco veggy. The owner (korean i believe) said there's no veggy today. Sushi out of shape. Cockroach on the floor. Sad udon, no veggy, no typical fish cake as it should have, just soup and noodle and a few pieces of meat. Waste of money!

This is undoubtedly the best sushi in the area. I usually order the grilled salmon special roll and the avocado roll, and both are fantastic. The fish is incredibly fresh, and the rice is served warm. Anyone who disagrees must be mistaken. I’ve been to Japan, and I still prefer the sushi from this place in Jannali!
fill, cheap and tasty. the miso soup was great and the sashimi was very fresh. I'd come back here next time. 5/5 for me. very affordable and easy to talk to team members.
Eating was very fresh and had amazing taste, the service was incredible. waiter and coworkers were very nice to us and would come definitiw if I looked with my friends.
I visited this restaurant, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The food was excellent, and I highly recommend visiting Jannali Sushi.

The owner yelling aggressively at the young waitress was awful to watch. Won’t return.
Always a winner. The food is great and the owners are lovely! Would highly recommend.
