This restaurant has grown in size over its short 3-year life, with good reason. The staff just strive to make you feel welcome, and they work hard to make the service happen. Service may seem slow, but keep in mind that all is done to order and that takes time. Great that this restaurant is (1) BYOB and (2) right next to a joint called «Les Assoiffés» (i.e. the Thirsty Ones) who can provide the perfect beer for the meal and (3) about 200 feet from a SAQ liquor store if you favour wine.The flavours and spices are right on. Of course the butter chicken is on order and succulent, but the menu offers many varieties of meat offerings, i.e most declinations of a dish are available in beef, lamb, c...

We started off asking to sit outside. It was a bit busy and the server said no because its a table for four and we were only two.I relunctly accepted. He then seated us in the window next to a party of 4 loud women. Being that I was tired from a long work day it was hard to stomach. After 20 min I finally decided to tell him I was ready to order and that I really wanted to sit outside far from the loud crowd. He said ok take your menus and utensils and he led the way.I found this extremely rude. When he brought the entree the sauce was spicy so i asked please can I have some yogurt sauce. He also didnt ask if I wanted anything to drink so I also asked for a 7up. he said he had yogurt sauce....

It's everything but what you'd expect from Indian cuisine: dishes were poorly executed, absolutely zero layering of flavors, it was just butter-ladden and when I say butter-ladden, I mean it tasted like the main ingredients were butter dumped over more butter and that's every plate of food that managed to make it to our table after one hour and a half of waiting. Service was terrible and the food could literally be congealed into a bloc from the amount of fat in it. It was tasteless and disappointing. I will definitely never return.

We tried this restaurant for a lunch and what a discovery! I love Indian food and I think this restaurant is the best in the area! The menu has a good selection, from regular Butterred Chicken to a more interesting exotic flavors to try. But what I could not get enough of was Naan Bread (was to die for), had to order an extra one Another good thing is, it is a Bring your own wine place. 2nd time this happens; we had made reservations and did not get our table waited 30 minutes. We had our meal 1:20 minutes later. Owner has made renos and double the size of restaurant but did not enlarge the kitchen space. Staff is nice but they should more on the floor and in the kitchen. Food is delicious but having to wait starving for so long ruins the evening.

Have eaten at this restaurant several times and never disappointed. The food tastes fresh and the portions are good and the price is not expensive. Usually get the combo for two which has butter chicken and curry lamb. Highly recommend it!

What a wonderful time we had this evening at "Moghel Tandoori"...the service was perfect & the paneers so good. We'll go back soon :)
