We booked this restaurant for a meal with family after being told this Indian restaurant was the best in lytham. The reservation was booked online and a confirmation email was sent to me from YOYO who I’m assuming handles their bookings . We arrived at 7pm on Saturday evening looking forward to a wonderful meal with family that had driven over especially from Manchester.We was horrified to be told they had not got our booking and could not accommodate us and although they apologised they virtually showed us the door saying the manager was in Bangladesh and there was nothing they could do . We left and went to Redfort Indian where they found us a table even though they were extremely busy .
I had no idea this place was here! After a fun night out, we were looking for a kebab to cap off the evening, but the takeaway was closed. We stumbled across the street hoping to sneak in for a curry. The owner seemed to be closing up since there was no one else around, but he kindly welcomed us in, took our order, and even shared a couple of beers with us. He did mention that we needed to finish up in 30 minutes, but honestly, we were just grateful to be seated! The food was fantastic, the service was excellent, and I can't complain at all. Overall, a wonderful spot! I’ll definitely come back for a curry when I’m in Lytham!
I was out of town and feeling hungry, so I decided to try this restaurant. I ordered takeaway, which included chicken tikka, onion bhaji, garlic naan, and some tubs of mango and mint sauce, totaling £23.65. Unfortunately, the experience was thoroughly disappointing. The chicken was processed, gummy, and lacked any real flavor—I honestly can't describe how unpleasant the texture was. The bhaji was soggy, and the naan tasted like something you'd find in a supermarket. This is the first negative review I've ever felt compelled to write, and it was truly an expensive letdown. The food was terrible, and the price was outrageous.
The food was exceptionally bland and middle of the road. The service was unbelievably terrible and worst of all when the bill came it was almost double what we were expecting. Blatantly ripped off and over charged to point the next table of four people said the exact same thing and also questioned the bill. On leaving they said that they will not be going again. Then the owner pretends he can hardly speak English and knows there is nothing you can do. Normally I wouldn’t complain but this was a a really bad experience. I will never go again.

I had an incredible dining experience at this restaurant! The food was fantastic, and the owner and staff were absolutely delightful. I highly recommend visiting this place. They also offer takeout, which is a great perk. I enjoyed dinner here, and the prices were quite reasonable, ranging from £10 to £20 per person. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere a perfect 5 out of 5!
Simply the best Indian around. Food is always fresh and the service is excellent. During the recent weeks the 2 courses deal for £9.95 is an absolute steal. A must visit.
