Momma's Diner - Reservar una mesa

We went for breakfast at this place a little while ago to try something different. We found a place to sit and the waitress brought over menus and water. We decided to order their breakfast combos but needed a small change. We wanted to sub the peameal bacon ( which is more expensive) for regular bacon; but the waitress refused the request. She said they don't make substitutions with menu items. We were shocked to hear that, and also shocked at her attitude. I've never heard of a diner refusing such a insignificant change. When we asked her if it was worth losing 2 customers over, she replied by saying that they are a busy restaurant and it wouldn't make a difference. I was so shocked by her rude response I thought I misheard her. Unfortunately I did not so we got up and walked out. The minute you start taking advantage of your customers and taking them for granted is the beginning of the end. I fear they won't be in business for long. I'm always open to giving a place another chance, so if the owners feel they want to make it right, they can reach out to discuss.

We stopped here on the way to Ottawa. Three kids, ages, 8 through 15, one gluten free, and myself.Lots of choice, kids menu, no seniors menu. Nice sized portions, best burger I've had in a long time. Great hand cut fries. Nice staff. Everything good except for the gravy and the coffee.Will stop again.

Used to go to this diner, when I was in town visiting my brother They used to be a decent place to eat really has gone down hill.
