My family and I have been visiting this restaurant since I was a little girl, and my grandma has been going here even longer. We always enjoy delicious food and excellent service. The family that runs this restaurant knows us well, and every time we come in to pick up our order, they always ask how my grandmother is doing. They even give us extra noodles, knowing how much she loves them. It's truly a great experience whenever we get food from them. I believe their prices are fair, especially considering the quality of the food. We absolutely love this place and the people who run it!
This place was not open long and now it 's for sale. I called there one time and a woman who answered the phone was very rude and kept telling me look at your menu . as I was asking her what the prices and options for dinner were. I had to repeat myself twice and tell her I did not have a menu and she just kept telling me to look at my menu. I ended up just hanging up the phone. It 's a shame that they closed but had they had better customer service and more neighborhood friendly prices they may have survived.
The lemon pepper wet chicken wings were under cooked to the point of pink coloration inside and the taste was bland. It came with soggy fries and a cornbread muffin that mustve been sitting in the fridge cuz it was hard. The $5 cup of jambalaya hasnt been touched yet as I've lost my appetite for the food. And to top it off...they over charge for the amount of food you get.
I ordered Chicken Lo Mein and fried chicken. The Lo Mein was excellent, and the portion size was generous. However, the fried chicken wasn't what I expected; the batter was too thick, reminiscent of sweet and sour chicken. Some people might enjoy this type of fried chicken. The service was quick. Overall, I would return, but only for the Lo Mein.

I ordered the Mandarin chicken, pork fried rice, egg roll, and cream cheese wontons. I had it delivered to White Bear Lake, and the food was prepared quickly and arrived hot! I'm really happy with this order. The vegetables were fresh, and the chicken was fantastic! I will definitely order from here again.
The food was just average. The dish I ordered didn't seem fully cooked. The cornbread muffin was overly sweet, and the macaroni was bland and too thick. On a positive note, the staff was friendly, and the restaurant was clean and well-maintained.
Chicken was under seasoned and tasted old and soggy. Waffles were okay. They dont have an updated menu at the restaurant. If you want a full menu, go to Doordash website and look up Mommas Kitchen.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience. I love the idea of a takeout restaurant that offers comforting, home-cooked meals. I could enjoy the macaroni and cheese and collard greens every day!

I absolutely love the food! I always order several dishes because I'm eager to sample everything on the menu. Today, the chicken and waffles were delicious, and the lamb chops were spot on!
I just love their chicken wing. something about those chicken wings just got me lol. also enjoy the chow mein. owners are sweet as well. prices are goooood.
