Having just walked out of one Chinese restaurant because of a limited menu, we chose this place and hoping for a really good meal. We were seated quickly, with menus tossed on the table. We asked for water. More guests were seated, they were served water and had their order taken. We still waited for water. Finally, we ordered and waited, for water, and waited. First came the spring rolls, followed by 2 bowls of rice. Where's the water? A teapot arrived, along with dumplings. Water! Nope, it was still MIA. Contrary to some other reviews, service was excellent! Fast and friendly despite being very busy. I am half Cantonese and my grandmother used to make this most amazing and delicious duck. I have want duck with such joy in over 30 years since she died. Well, their BBQ duck is as good as hers. I was in heaven! For 15.95 (CAD) you get a full half duck cooked to perfection. You must get this. We also ordered the Cantonese Chow Mein (9.95 and an enormous portion) which was also really good. The vegetables tasted like candy after having eaten festival food for three days. We will go here again Before we leave Montreal. Loved it!
What to say about a restaurant that offers you a soup, a starter, a main course with a side dish with a tea and a dessert for $ 5.50 in 2017 ... Incredible lunch menu, hot food and delicious, very reasonable portions. Clean restaurant well located a few steps from the metro in the heart of Chinatown efficient and fast service perfect for a busy worker at dinner time. In less than 30 minutes it is possible to be served and have finished eating. On the flavor side, we find all the Asian subtleties of spicy and sweet well prepared.

I went with a friend, and just decided to ask our server (Pierre) to bring two plates out. I'm very happy about that decision. He brought out a delicious chicken and some kind of sauce plate, and some amazing spring rolls with Bok choy. Portion sizes were great (gave me a lunch the next day), service was great, overall a fantastic meal.Thanks Pierre and the entire staff!Bonus was the street musicians we got to see outside right after our delicious meal.
In my home country I work in a Chinese restaurant so I know what good Chinese food tastes like. I visited this place together with my family. The restaurant is located in the heart of China Town, a place with an awesome ambiance. The restaurant was very busy, but we were lucky and got a table rather fast. We chose a menu for two, which was tasty and cheap. Nice place for a nice price. At the end you got some fortune cookies.
I was hungry and it was heavily raining outside so I did not want to go anywhere. But when I realized that room service is too long to wait, I decided to go outdoor to Chinatown just next to the hotel. Found this place which was quite crowded on such a day. All was done quickly and efficiently - the order, the delivery and the payment. But the meal itself was not do much. Hence just average rating.
We went there for lunch. They did not have many things for vegetarian, but you can ask for it. But note that they will simply remove meat from the dish you order (I didn't see nothing -- like tofu -- added). There are not many waiters, so it was a bit slow when the place is crowded.

the prices are excellent for lunch and the food is varied and for all tastes Tahillandais Chinese Cantonese and more Lobster and Asian Peking Duck. restaurant open very late 2; 30 am one of the only ones in the area also deliver very convenient
They are open till 4AM which is great for a bite after going out. Food is good - fresh and flavourful. Service could be a bit better but only two servers were working
