I was walking through la rue de la Vieille Tour, in downtown Bordeaux, after some early morning shopping at Mollat, and was looking for a great place for breakfast when I saw Møna.Been immediately attracted by this cute little place, and by the "ø" in the name. I live in Oslo, and I was curious about this café which looks different from all the things you can find around, with a name & an interior design which sounded/looked 100% Scandinavian.I must admit I was slightly disappointed then : the venue is comfy & cozy, nice & warm atmosphere, but the range of products offered for breakfast was a poor. We tested a very hot Saturday around 1:30. has inside (clim but with open door so not too refreshing, a little anyway) nice decor. There were no more suggestions of the day at this time. a quinoa salad, cucumber, tomatoes, cumin, rockets. Good, but not exceptional. very good sardine rillettes. Ice tea house red fruit: good but I would have preferred a greater quantity. desserts: raspberry cake / pistachio. Not too soft, too suffocating. a carrot cake a little too creamy. So desserts not top! home, service not top even if it's okay. I don't think we'll go back even if it's still acceptable. all for 30 euros to 2.
I was very disappointed for this breakfast I confess to in the opinion. There's no formula to the card. for example, a smoothie at 7.5 euros, a coffee at 1.7, simple spreads at 4.5, an egg at 2.5. So if we do the calculation, we can definitely not say that this is a place for a cheap and copied breakfast. to know for people like me who are looking for cheap small home addresses. that says the place is nice and the employees quite cordial.
Really nice food. I came for lunch one day and then returned for a drink and cake the next. I would say that the lunch menu is reasonably price, but perhaps the cake is a bit on the expensive side. However you can see why, it is incredibly delicious and not typically French. So if you want something different, definitely somewhere to check out.

We came in winter. a lot of people inside, space to share very tight. very beautiful pastry to make pictures but in the mouth the flavor is medium, full of butter. medium service, nice place but to share (in our case) with a group of five left plus two other people on the right (with a dog) and we four in the middle in one table.
Two butter tarts at 4€50, a crushed crumble, and a useless clim when we leave the door open did not convince me at all. We expect a impeccable service at these prices, but even the server served us with glasses stacked on each other. Thankfully the decor is nice.
after looking for a long time when you could take a brunch on a Saturday we are completely accidentally falling on this little cozy place!! their brunch is complete and delicious. there is nothing to say for the price (22€). I strongly advise you to do it again.
I was advised by a friend of mine by way of passage. I love it! the restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, the dishes are of good quality and copied and the prices more than reasonable. The staff is very nice and welcoming!

Nice place for a tea with girlfriends. But! much too expensive for the quantity you are used. (a capuccino in a mini cup). a lot of waiting for a not very friendly service.
