I have used Monafs for many years, not frequently as I am disabled and they didn't deliver. I was delighted when they started offering delivery not long ago. I normally have a Special Thali which I find superb. However, the last 2 orders have not been good, particularly the last one. I got duplicated dishes 2 cauliflower bhajis and 2 identical lamb dishes. So much for variety. However, the one inexcusable thing was the replacement of the single, large tandoori king prawn with tiny prawns as used in prawn patia roti. No explanation or apology. I consider this to be bordering on dishonesty and will not use Monafs again unless I get an explanation.
This is local to me so handy for easy dinner out with friends or take-home. Staff are lovely, friendly and helpful, food is delicious and atmosphere cheerful. Prices are average I would say, and it’s always busy so that says it all. So glad it is close by. And, no, I don’t ask what goes in the ctm that makes it so good, but it is wonderful.
Easily accessible by train or bus car parking not too easy. Average prices staff aware of dietary requirements. Looks unobtrusive from outside but dining area stretches quite a way back you can sit outside weather petmitting. Good variety of food choices. Pleasant service have had swift takeaways in the past
Very generous portion of Onion Bhaji. Freshly cooked. Very nice. Came with yoghurt but not chutney /raw onion etc but had salad items with it. Chicken Madras was spot on!! Rice and naan also excellent. Reasonable cost. Table was a little bit wobbly but apart from that 10 out of 10!! Friendly staff.

Whenever my father visits we go here he refuses to eat curry anywhere else. Good food, generous portions, clean, polite staff, beautiful presentation and good value ......m tender lamb too!
Guy left me on hold and forgot about me found another local Indian ChaChaz great service great food spent quite a bit here too so monafs don't leave you customers on hold next time
Literally been going here for years. I’ve tried other Bangladeshi restaurants and always come back to monafs. The food is delicious. The best.
Amazing food, dishes you recognise but with their own twist. Particularly liked the masal with orange
