Visited this restaurant based on reviews. My family and I are very open to different restaurants and enjoy eating a variety of food. We stepped into the restaurant and it's decorated very nicely, however, it was a bit to dark for our family taste. Ourkids were a little thrown off with the lack of light, but proceeded anyway. We didn't like the music of choice (music video withhalf naked women) as it was completely uncensored and with poor choice of vocabulary (night club music). We were concerned withour kids hearing and seeing this as they are toddlers and repeat everything they hear. The food was good, and still recommendthe place to anyone who wants good food at a decent price. This ratin...
The main reason I wanted to come to this place was for the drinks and they weren't bad nor good ...you know ? Like drinkable but not hitting the spot. The food was good I got a steak and chicken with cheese arepa, and it was just so good....the arepa wasnot dry at all. The other plate was a bandeja paisa, and the beans were the best part of that whole plate ...never in arestaurant have I ever tasted seasoned beans overall the plate was good just the beans took me out. Okay, so if you have asweet tooth, get the crepes de fresa. It has strawberry, banana, ice cream, dulce de leche, and nutella. Don't get the lava cake. . it was dry.

The menu can be a bit pricey for what you receive. As expected, drinks are also on the expensive side, but they taste great. The fresh juices pair nicely with the liquor at the bar. Just be prepared for a long wait for service.
We chose to try Monchy's Colombian Grill in Dover after seeing some positive reviews. My family and I love exploring new dining experiences and have varied tastes. The decor was pleasant, though a bit too dim for our preference. Our kids felt a little uneasy because of the low lighting, but we stayed anyway. Unfortunately, we didn’t appreciate the music video playing—it featured scantily clad women with uncensored content and inappropriate language, which seemed more fitting for a nightclub than a family-friendly restaurant.

Monchy's Colombian Grill in Dover offers a lively atmosphere with great music, though it was a bit loud. The food presentation was appealing, but the flavors fell a little flat. The beans were quite bland, and while the rice with egg was to my liking, it needed hot sauce to add some zest. I enjoyed the sausage, but the steak was disappointingly tough. I rated it generously with 3 stars mostly because of the vibrant ambiance. I also liked my virgin colada. Overall, the meal looked more appetizing than it tasted.

Monchy's Colombian Grill in Dover is fantastic! The atmosphere, both inside and out, is beautiful. The staff are welcoming and create a great energy from the moment you walk in. The drinks were tasty, and the food was perfectly seasoned with generous portions. I give this place a 10/10 and will definitely return!
As always, Monchy's lived up to expectations! We stopped by for a drink after the fireworks, and both the music and drinks were perfect. We always have a fantastic time here. The food is amazing, and the drinks are beyond words!
