My husband and I went to Mondello yesterday for our Valentine's Day dinner, it was the most amazing experience I've had at a restaurant. When we got shown to our table, we ordered an app, then the power went out. I thought our night would be ruined, however- it only got better! The staff at Mondello ristorante did an incredible job of staying on top of things, working as one team to give customers a great experience. They lit tons of candle around the restaurant and they even asked a waiter to go get his guitar so we can have dinner music. I am so amazed at the experience we had! Having been married abroad in 2017, in June this year we had a wedding blessing for local friends and family at Mondello Ristorante. It was meant to be a casual, open house style celebration and it went exactly as planned. Jessica and her team were very professional, with immaculate attention to detail both in preparation and on the day, and the food and drinks were superb. We had about nine appetizers for approximately eighty people, plus an open bar for about three hours. The costs were all very reasonable and excellent value for money. A hidden gem in Streetsville, and the best Italian restaurant by far. After experiencing other restaurants in the village, you reaffirm the care and consideration that everyone from the servers to the chef, take in every order and every customer. It's a cozy, lovely restaurant and the food is absolutely delicious. It's made with love. Even walking down Queen Street you can smell this good air coming from it! I wish other restaurants in the area would take a page from Mondello's book when it comes to customer service it feels like you're having dinner with family rather than just being another ticket.
Mondello Ristorante is the best place for any occasion, as the food and service is second to none. There is always a couple of new delicious creations of the day to accompany the already fabulous menu. The attentive servers, along with owner Jessica, display a level of professionalism not often found these days. I highly recommend this restaurant. I prefer restaurants with a moderate crowd so that the service is attentive. The service is good, the food is delicious, and the portion sizes are perfect for two people. It does take a little longer for your food to arrive at the table, but that's because they cook everything from scratch, not just heating it up in the microwave.
The atmosphere is fabulous and the staff is very attentive. The food was excellent and cooked to perfection. There are many choices available, even with preset menu options. The event was my daughter's communion lunch and there was great attention to detail. I will definitely be returning again and again. Thank you to the entire staff.
The mushroom risotto is amazing. Ambiance is relaxing and upscale. This gem in located in the quaint little town of Streetsville which lives up to it’s name with vintage inspired street lamps that have beautiful hanging baskets. I know I’m going to be craving this food forever.
