At least that's my feeling after eating at this place. The place is family owned and operated. People are very warm the location is simple but cozy. The meals are very good, unexpectedly good. You can taste local wine and regional beers. Definitely a go if you wanna experience what these people's live are about.

Is scenic super great! The flame cakes are excellent. I can recommend especially the cages. If I'm looking for a flame cake, I'm coming from Freiburg to the Kaiserstuhl.Kid-friendliness: toys available. Children like to be seen. Playing space is also available.Parking: No problem!

Nice ambience, great service and the most delicious Cordon bleu (Elseese style) I've ever eaten. I was there for the 2nd time and will be sure to come back.Absolutely recommended!
