Waren zum ersten Mal im mondo italiano, weil uns Freunde eingeladen hatten. Wir waren am frühen Abend, so dass das Lokal nur leicht besetzt war und wir freie Platzwahl hatten. Zum Glück hatten wir tolles Wetter, also haben wir draußen Platz genommen. Der Service war ziemlich schnell. Die Getränke standen relativ bald auf unserem Tisch und die Bestellung wurde zügig serviert. Wir hatte alle Pizza und waren sehr zufrieden. Schöner dünner knuspriger Boden und frische Zutaten. Lecker! Die Preise sind für diese Lage vollkommen in Ordnung.
Pizza war gut, lt. meiner Begleitung. Leider hat mir der Salat Sarde nicht geschmeckt. Viel Essig, eingetrocknete Gurke und entweder ein teurer Schafskäse, den ich nicht kenne oder aber ein billiges Ersatzprodukt. Kenne Schafskäse krümelig und im Geschmack besonders. Hier schmeckte es wie schlechter Mozzarella nach nichts. Vielleicht habe ich das Falsche dort bestellt? Ambiente so lala. Abends aber sicher mehr los und bessere Stimmung. Waren nur ein mal dort. Auf Grund der hier gemachten Bewertung ausprobiert. Schade.
Wir waren heute im Restaurant Mondo Italiano.Der Besuch und das Essen waren eine totale Enttäuschung!Ich habe Garnelen vom Grill mit Nudeln mit schwarzen Trüffel bestellt.(Ancelotti)Habe ganze 2 Garnelen bekommen und diese waren total durch gekocht und waren alles andere als Schmackhaft.Der Weißwein ( Lugano )war zu warm,Eiskühler haben wir nur auf Verlangen bekommen und das bei 30 Grad.Personal sehr unaufmerksam !

Plain tagliatelle had congealed into a mass on the plate. A few mushrooms and bits of bacon were sprinkled on top. Rubbish. The couple next to us walked out after they had been waiting for their food for over half an hour. Avoid!

Stuff is very friendly and food is very tasty. Mondo italiano is placed in city centrum od passau. We love to come here and we will come back again
