Mongo's Restaurant Dortmund

I was there with my colleagues for dinner. I didn't know what would expect me, but I was very surprised to find many different meat, fish and vegetables to choose from, with the formula all you can eat :) in their arrival they can choose 10 different sauces (I didn't go as sharp as described for chili by the way). You stand up and put in your court what you want. then you leave your dish in the kitchen and they cook right in front of you and add the previously selected sauce (the name of the sauce is next to the court, so you don't have to wait in front of you, but your dish is brought to her table by waitresses). absolutely zebrafleisch, kangaro and strauß taste. good beer, beautiful place, but avoid going there at high temperatures: no air conditioning inside, we had tables inside, but we spent all the time out because it was quite impossible to stay inside! prices are not known to me, as the dinner was offered by my colleagues in front of the place!

the presentation of an exotic all-you-can-eat buffet is really tempting. but the truth is that it is questionable how much of this menu that is through with Thai and Indian cuisine is really Mongolian. I dispensed with the possibility of stuffing myself at the self-service buffet and decided to use the option “à la carte”. bad mistake! geduld is supposed to be a virtuous, but the latency of the service was simply annoying. the restaurant hardly wowed, and yet it proved to be more difficult to excite the attention of a waiter than to catch a wild yak with the leto. the time interval between the curses made me think that I would have written my questions better handwritten and sent by post. when waiter made their choices, they were unengaged and distant. the rather lukewarm experience can be summarized by one of the menu options: “vegetarian tempura” (Mongolic),? the disappointingly consisted of two smashed carrot bars – boring and ineffective.

I love this place. is it expensive? good yes. is it worth it? absolutely! there is a large selection of ingredients that they can use for their dish, numerous sauces and very fresh crumbles. the personal is very friendly and professional. the bathrooms are clean and bright. this is a great place to look for a restaurant for special occasions – as long as they have no limited budget

eating was average to average. the restaurant was not even full, but the service speed and setting were terrible. first and last time in this restaurant.

fantastic restaurant concept with a great dining offer for people every taste. cheap meals and very friendly staff. highly recommended!
