Monkey's Uncle Tavern

Pleasantly surprised at how great the food is here. I've previously gone to Monkey's Uncle on karaoke nights years ago and never tried the food. My family and I decided to stop in for lunch and everything we ordered was delicious. We were surprised at thevariety of menu options... not just typical bar food. My husband ordered the wings and shrimp. I tried the fish and shrimp. Iappreciate the option of ordering steak fries or waffle. My son ordered the burger and loved it. Got the check, and holy cow theburger and fries were only 5 bucks! What?! Definitely our new favorite place for elevated bar food. Highly recommend!

about 2 blocks from the beach, I stopped with my family to eat something. we asked where we could sit, they said they were sitting everywhere, as we did. No one came to us after 20 minutes and I went to a dressed, dark-haired guy with a bart and asked if I could grab a menu. he said a menu for what? to eat mean man! that's a restaurant, right? I got the burger, it was decent, but nothing special. this place is a sweat, so many better possibilities in the opposite.

Monkeys is awesome. I'm part of the construction on 4th street and I know it's hard to like us since we periodically cut their water off but we eat there every week as a crew and they treat us well and the food is consistently delicious. They even hookedup one of our guys after he helped them with hurricane damage to a fence. No complaints, highly recommended ????

the one star refers only to the karaoke competition. the process is ridiculously insulting. a big sweat competition is it and hopes that austin's fantastic Dj'ing know-how will not be affected. Otherwise, the bar/restaurant itself has to go for eating n fun. I was at this place, since in the original position n had never complained.
