A very pleasant place to spend a meal away from the hustle and bustle of the charming city center; on 2 floors, a few tables on the upstairs balcony for couples and a cocooning terrace on the ground floor, an exotic and cozy decor, the friendly and attentive young service, as for cocktails we were disappointed (very little alcohol or taste for an excessive price therefore), for the kitchen we remain mixed. Very nice taste and visual experience for the starters with the makis and the chef's California volcano. For rather ordinary dishes, no better than elsewhere, top mention for the surprising dessert of the ephemeral sphere . Dinner price €2.110 with half a bottle of wine.
It's impossible to get tired of this unmissable Rennes address. Compulsory travel from Saint Malo simply to come to dinner or lunch. A warm welcome, a service as rarely found in Brittany or elsewhere. The menu of the aperos and cocktails, but especially by the entrances the dishes and desserts are exquisite. No fault of flavour, presentation and price. The plates are more than generous. The tip should be up to the bill to reward the team that is doing everything to offer this true culinary journey. Come on this Saturday night with a friend! We enjoyed it, it was excellent! My friend chose a menu and he took: Gunkan sushi Moo Satay Duo chocolate and I took on my side the Bao black Salmon burger and the ephemeral sphere. The salmon was divine, perfect cooking. I'll come back with my spouse and I'll take this dish again without a second. Only one thing the content of the sphere was not enough garnished the dessert was a little. Special mention for servers that were simply ADORABLE!
I highly recommend this restaurant, the welcome is extremely warm, the waiters are extremely friendly, the dishes we ordered were more than good and very presentable, and the chef was able to modify the ingredients without any problems. The decoration of the restaurant is just perfect Thank you for this great service and their great smiles, I would happily come back!!

Perfect! The kitchen is top, full of flavor, the atmosphere also and the servers have a very good sense of trade, they are pleasant, have humor. This is always a great time at Mr Yak!
