Whilst the staff were friendly and obviously pushed to their limits, the food was less than appealing. Mexican is supposed to be lively, fresh and tasty!! The overuse of refried beans by the can on every dish was not good. I don't think I have ever had nacho's were the main ingredient is refried beans and the minimal ingredient chips. The enchilada's way over cooked and again the minor feature on the pate next to refried beans and very dry cold rice. We were here 10 years ago and had fond memory. Lift your game you can do it again, but enough with the refried beans....
The best mexican restaurant I've tried in Australia in the past 2 years ! Everything is very fresh, they make their own nachos instead of the industrial corn chips you've got in other restaurants, and they're so delicious !!! The mains are huge serves and not expensive at all, mostly between $20 and $26 for mixed plates. And the staff is very friendly. Would definitely be back on my next trip to surfers paradise !
We celebrated our end of year work lunch here and it was fantastic. The food was soooo good, and inexpensive too! Excellent service, great atmosphere and the service was terrific. I take friends here as often as I can when they come to the GC and will be organising another night out here as soon as I get the gang together again!!
A lovely Mexican restaurant, great tasting authentic food with very generous portions. Would recommend this place, maybe share the food as we wasted a lot.The British waitress was very helpful and informative.Very cool decor and the children thought the God and Goddesses signs on the toilets doors were fun.

You are ab,e to have a real taste of Mexican food here and there is even a deal where when you buy. Ain meal, you. An then get a second with free. This restaurant is open for lunch and dinner to cater for everyone.
This is a must for us whenever we are on the Gold Coast. It has never let us down over many years. The food is fresh and tasty and there is something for everyone's taste. It is a must, good value for money.
If you are in Surfers Paradise and enjoy Mexican food visit Aztec Montezuma's restaurant. The food is superb, I wait for the buy one get one for free deal

A little trickier to find than most places this Montezuma's location is definitely one of the more fun on the Gold Coast.
