The cakes and cupcakes are delicious! I've ordered a number of special occasion cakes and stop by often to by dozens of cupcakes. The customer service is lacking. A few examples I ordered a coral colored cake to celebrate my aunt getting married. The cake came out orange, so it looked more like a pumpkin color. I called a few days later to address it and I was told they'd look into what happened. I never heard back, I called a few times to discuss but never got anywhere with this issue. I ordered a large safari cake for my nephew's birthday party, which was supposed to be delivered on October 22, 2022, between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM. When 4:00 PM came and the cake had not arrived, I called but got no answer. After spending an hour trying to reach them, I finally got someone on the line at 5:30 PM, but was put on hold for over half an hour before I hung up. I called back, and a woman took my information and said she would check with the driver. Unfortunately, she didn’t even have the courtesy to call me back with an explanation about what had happened. Working with Montilio’s was a breeze, they made the process a very easy one. From the first meeting to our cake tasting, everyone was so friendly. We were well informed about needing to have our decor for the cake at the bakery by a certain time. They were very thorough with communication and there were no surprises along the way. They even offer a discount incentive for paying by cash!Our wedding cake was delicious! This restaurant is not what it used to be. The customer service is terrible. The staff seems to spend more time arguing over who can serve better than actually helping customers. When I visited, the young girl at the counter couldn't locate my paid order and struggled under the pressure when I asked for a refund. The woman who claimed to be the owner appeared completely uninterested and seemed lost in her own world. She thought a small gift would make everything better, but I was honest with her about my dissatisfaction and made it clear that I would never return. I had even considered ordering my wedding cake from there, but that's definitely off the table now.

I recently had gone in to help choose an event cake with a friend and was blown away by the quality and the number of samples that was offered by this incredible bakery . Well I've lived local since the mid 1980s I've only gone in for simple cakes , cookies and pastry but this time they had really put on a great presentation and my friend purchased their cake and everybody has still been talking about it for the past 3 months.
This place has down the drain over the years. Do not go with a design you want to run on a cake. They will charge an arm, leg, kidney and lung and then NOT do what they said they could/will. I gave them so many opportunities, and every year I say I don't go back and go in the end. Well, this year I mean it. I'm not going to spend another dim in this place.
Montilio is a truly exceptional bakery! They create an absolutely delicious gluten-free carrot cake, and even allowed me to personalize it with my company logo for a team event. I am so grateful to this fantastic bakery. I highly recommend it!
What's not to love about this place? If you like sweets, you need to go here! Pleasant and helpful staff with workable hours to accommodate early birds and late in the day people who want something tasty for supper or breakfast the next day.
