"Lovely staff who greet you warmly. But food very retro 1970 and sadly whilst I really wanted to enjoy it I didn’t. The vegetables weren’t cooked properly and the strangest apple tart I’ve ever come across. Such a pity."

I can’t fault the experience here from start to finish. For years we wanted to visit this restaurant for years and plucked up the courage, twice. The atmosphere was perfect, the food Devine and the owner and staff provided exceptional service and hospitality. The final touch of giving my wife a rose each night, and other guests also, was the icing on the cake. Although we did hear an Irish guest saying that she thought it was sexist (shocking)

We have been to this fantastic restaurant twice in six days, the food, the atmosphere and the services are brilliant. The first time we were there 2 of us had the John Dory fish meal, and 1 had the sirloin steak. The second time we all had the frogs legs for a starter, then I had the sirloin steak, my wife had the chicken dish and my sister-in-law had pork dish. Fabulous. Gratius

I really wanted to love this place. The building is beautiful. Staff are very attentive. The cab sav was very good. Sadly, the food was just mediocre. It’s was ok, but nothing amazing which we had expected and due to this would not return.

Been here several times now, it never disappoints and always a faultless evening. My wife had a chicken dish and I had fillet of sole. we finished with the merangue and selection of cheeses. All were perfect and the service was very good.
