We researched the best fish and chips in Mablethorpe and discovered that Monty’s comes highly recommended. It’s conveniently located just a 2-minute walk from the Mablethorpe ice cream shop, tucked away on the corner of a side street. We opted to sit outside since we had our two dogs with us, and the weather was beautiful, though there’s also a dining room available. We each ordered the large haddock with mushy peas, and the fish was freshly cooked in beef dripping, resulting in a wonderfully flaky texture with a light batter.
