Montys' Ballymoney

We visited here on Saturday night 27/7/2019 and unfortunately ours was not a good experience. They had run out of fish, chips garlic fries the only option was French fries. I ordered crispy chilli chicken, it was neither crispy or spicy in fact it was tasteless and very soggy. My partner ordered a mini fry and he said it was very greasy. You go up to the till to get a menu, back up to order and pay(before you get your food) and they bring your good to your table. We ordered our food a cold drink and tea this was handed over straight away but food then took about 20 minutes which meant tea was cold. We had to ask for more hot water. Had never been in the old Montys on the high street. But decided to give the new location on church street a try, and so glad I did. A really lovely fry which came with good strong tea and a smile from friendly and efficient staff. I think this could be......NO.....this IS the best cafe in town! Keep up the good work. (Sorry, no picture of the fry, it was too nice to wait!

I hadn't been to Monty's since they moved to Church Street. The food was absolutely delicious and a great value for the price. I had the french toast and bacon, which was tasty and light. My wife had a veggie fry, which was also light and not greasy. Best of luck in the new location, it is definitely worth a visit!

I went to Monty's for the first time today, Friday, September 6th. Wow, what a fantastic meal. The food was delicious, cooked to perfection, and beautifully presented. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was very clean. We will definitely be coming back here. All the dishes being served looked amazing.

Very nice breakfast on my way to the open. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. Also the price was great value
