Monty's Sandwich Cafe

I recently visited Monty's for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. Located not far from the Royal Berkshire Hospital, the al fresco dining area gives the restaurant a unique charm. I felt like I was on vacation as I enjoyed a delicious black Americano with a thick crema on top. The outdoor seating area was comfortable with a cool breeze, and I can imagine it being just as enjoyable with heat lamps in colder weather. The menu offers authentic Middle Eastern food, and I appreciated being able to customize my order as a vegan. The staff, who I believe were a family, were friendly and accommodating. This morning, the atmosphere at this restaurant was delightful. It is peaceful and pleasant, with a lovely outdoor seating area. Despite sitting outside, we were still able to enjoy the sunshine thanks to the transparent cover overhead. I imagine it would be a great place to sit even during the winter months. The prices are affordable and the staff is very welcoming. I highly recommend trying this place - it definitely deserves the praise.

The service at this restaurant was top-notch- friendly and polite. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the English breakfast we ordered. The lemon and mint drink was so refreshing, and the coffee was fantastic. We wish this restaurant was closer to us because we would definitely become regulars!

Lovely breakfast with my partner, the staff was very lovely and service was very quick, I had salmon and cream cheese with poached egg on top witch was lovely and the Oreo milkshake was really good highly recommend

The food is exactly what I needed to start my day! Everyone was so welcoming and kind, you can tell it's a family run business. We had such a great experience and look forward to going back soon.

Wonderful place. Staff are so lovely and welcoming and the food is amazing. Had a very nice relaxing brunch with my friends and can't wait to go again.

The owners and the workers are extremely nice and welcoming. The food is great and delicious! Would highly recommend!!!

Excellent eating venue for lunch. The children enjoy the wraps and as a result come here regularly on the weekend.
