This happened to be the only restaurant within walking distance of our hotel and I'm glad it was! Similar to Five Guys, it's a make your own burger type of establishment. The food was really good including the turkey burger, hamburger and hot dogs. The list of available toppings is extensive and includes, for free, many that most restaurants would charge extra for such as onion rings and fried mushrooms. The sweet potato fries were excellent as well.Only downside was the long wait to order and get our food, likely due to the fact that the staff consisted entirely of teenagers who were mostly goofing around instead of taking and preparing orders. I will have to visit a few more times before giving a higher rating, but the food was very good at mooyah. I always usually skip the drinks and fries or I would weight 300 pounds, but I made an exception for the fries at mooyas. They were huge and cut in house, and the two of us shared 1 large side of them in addition to our classic burgers. About 20 additions available to be put on your burger at no charge, with bacon and cheese coming in at a steep price point(I would avoid the next time in). Buns an burger patties were great with a five minute ticket time, and the staff were excellent. Blows the doors of fatburger in Kelowna which I would cast in the same genre. Will have to try again.
A party of four of us, had lunch here. Obviously a new location, cause they were explaining alot to us. Two of us had been to location in north vancouver twice, two of us it was first time at Mooyah. The food and service was good. Fresh food, delicious, did not disappoint. They fill their shakes more than the north Vancouver location does. North Van location gives more fries with the 1-2 people order. Chilliwack location does not keep Frank's on tables, as was explained to us, people kept stealing them off the tables, this is sad. The north Vancouver location keeps the Frank's on the table, which is nice and convenient.
The food here is awesome! So many options. You get to pick your protein, your type of bun (or lettuce wrap), all your fixins and whatever sauces you want. You could come here a hundred times and not have the same thing twice. The quality of the food is good, but it is more expensive than your regular fast food burger place. But, you get what you pay for.
