More Perreca's - Reserva de mesa

I love this place. Loved coming in at lunch and getting a red pepper sandwich and a slice of tomato pie. The problem is the food is/was so good that I am now cursed by bing separated from it by thousands of miles. Maria has given some recipe's out before.Maybe one day the red pepper sandwich can be given in recipe form for me to attempt to recreate badly if only to get a wistfulrecollection to hold me over until I am in the area again to experience the real thing. I went here for breakfast with my parents. they enjoyed their very non-vegan breakfast, and I enjoyed mine. the veggie options are limited. I had olive groves with some roasted Italian bread, I also had one side of fried potatoes, I was sure they did not contain bacon or butter. I checked the other menus (lunch and dinner) and saw that their vegan option is limited. it is really the best Italian bread around, so I will definitely buy that.

I absolutely adore this bakery. The staff are diligent and friendly, and the food is outstanding. The bread is absolutely amazing. And don't even get me started on the pizza and cupcakes - if you haven't visited yet, you must go. Stop by for a quick lunch and make sure to try the espresso cupcake that's as big as your fist. Before going vegan, I loved eating at Perrecca's. It was one of my favorite places in Schenectady for dinner. However, I would never recommend it to a vegan. They do fabulous for vegetarians like almost any Italian restaurant, but there is nothing on their menu for vegans.

I make a special effort to come to this restaurant for their delicious bread. While I'm there, I always indulge in a slice of their tomato pie... so tasty! The staff is friendly and the smell is wonderful.

Very simply put, this is the best bread you're going to find in Upstate NY. Truly excellent. If you haven't had Perreca's, you haven't had real bread.

This restaurant is a must-visit with the most delicious bread you'll ever taste! Make sure to give it a try at least once.
