While on a evening drive to Newcastle Co Down we thought we would treat ourselves to an ice cream as it was a warm evening, the ice cream shop further up the Main Street was queued out on the street so we came further down and got parked easily at the promenade when we noticed Morelli’s ice cream and coffee shop on the other side, we were amazed by the range of flavours available, the guy serving greeted us and gave us time to decide what we we wanted, a three scoop and a two scoop tub were picked with flavours ranging from Parma Violets, Lemon &Lime Ripple, Belguim choc, Dime bar and Honeycomb were decided on, beautiful ice cream, great helpings and very pleasant staff, we will definitely t...
Called here on a classic car run with a dozen others after having had an evening meal in Annalong as we were aware that Morelli's had an ice cream shop in Newcastle. We were not disappointed as the business has been franchised throughout Northern Ireland and a number of us were brought up having sampled the original flavours of ice cream in the Portstewart and Portrush areas. We were well, and quickly, served in the shop with a variety of flavours bought and an odd one shared in the group. Will call again should the need arise in the Newcastle area.
The ice cream at this restaurant is incredibly smooth and rich. I tried the honey flavor and it blew me away, I've never had anything like it before. My son opted for the strawberry cone and he thought it tasted like vanilla ice cream with strawberry syrup. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not, but he finished the whole cone so it must have been delicious.
I just love the huge selection at morellis Newcastle. Every flavour tastes as good as the other. only problem is which one to pick. I have had several visits here just to try the different flavours, and I have never been disappointed

I don't understand why there is always a line at a nearby restaurant. I have tried ice cream at another very popular place, but the quality of Morelli's ice cream surpasses it by far. The coconut flavor is especially excellent.

Traditional Italian ice cream recipe form the Morelli family, now franchised out across Northern Ireland. Various flavours of which my favourite is the vanilla which ahs won awards.
The restaurant is a great choice on a hot sunny day. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. They also offer a variety of ice cream flavors and toppings to choose from.

Just love it here,it's great for large groups as they are very competitively priced. Love their diabetic ice cream also.
Italian styley ice-cream place on main street...lots of choice and great taste...Strawberry was amazing.
