I went to the supermarket to do some shopping and decided to have a cup of tea and an all-day breakfast at the cafe. The self-serve computer was broken, so I got a pot of tea and a cup instead. When I went to check out, I asked where the milk was. The older lady working behind the till rolled her eyes, walked over to where the stirrers were, and said it was there. I like what I like for breakfast which doesn’t include bacon, sausage, toast, beans, hash brownies. So all I want is two poached egg, black pudding, tomatoes and mushrooms. Every tome, again and again. Boring old me! And that is exactly what you can order with their pick-n-mix ordering option for £5.00. That is good but better is the poached eggs are just how I like them, generous black pud portion, a big field mushroom and it would be nice to have a big beef tomato but good enough. A pot of tea for £1.80 and it is a handy option to have a quick breakfast (since I live almost next door)! Good value. Clean. Friendly service. Went for breakfast, as I'd been there before and really enjoyed it. Not brilliant this time unfortunately. I'd ordered a cooked breakfast which consisted of a large mushroom, two streaks of bacon, two sausages, half a fried tomato, a fried egg and a hash brown. It was accompanied by a slice of toast. Apart from the toast it was dripping in grease, and looked like it had been cooked in a rush. It was also pretty tasteless. I wish now I'd just had a muffin with my coffee, as the greasy breakfast has left me feeling unwell for most of the day whilst I've been at work. I don't think I'll visit again for a while.

I visited this restaurant for breakfast two weeks ago and had a unique experience. Ordering was easy, especially when paying with a card, but there seemed to be a problem when paying with cash. The value for money was great - we got two fried breakfasts and unlimited tea for less than ten pounds for the two of us. However, when we asked for teaspoons and sugar, we were disappointed to find that there were none available. The response from the kitchen staff was quite curt. Despite this, the meal itself was good and we have returned since, finding that everything was replenished.
Half term lunchtime treat for, myself, husband and 2 grandchildren, wish we hadn't bothered, only 2 members of staff who were doing everything, chaotic ordering system, dirty tables and floors, no cups, the list goes on, when the food eventually arrived, (breakfasts), mostly cold, bacon hard, fried eggs, yolks hard and slimey! Disappointed, would have asked for a refund, but no staff available, Please employ more staff and someone who can cook!!
Visited the cafe with my mum, I was appalled how dirty it was, and the food wasn’t fit enough for a dog, my mum’s peas were like grey bullets chips were hard scampi was ok has for mine I couldn’t eat it. I thought the coffee machine was broke cause the cappuccino was rank. I was so disappointed, I had to ask for a refund. All I can say is get your act together and replace your cook and poor quality food.
Popped in to cafe for a quick brunch. Meal deal or coffee with bacon roll is a good deal. Service was slowed as the kitchen had to go in to the store to get some Brie. You can select a variety of cakes at self service ordering but check what is actually there first. Servers were polite and for the price all was fine. Decent bacon rolls.

Why do I keep going back? I am really not sure. I think I must have the memory of a goldfish. The chips tasted like they had been kept warm for hours and the peas were cold. Terrible breakfast experience! The food was greasy and low quality, with soggy toast that was already buttered. The staff seemed disorganised and both hot drinks machines were not working. Save your money and avoid eating here.
