Morton's The Steakhouse

We have dined at Morton's several times in the past, but our recent visit left us disappointed. The Caesar salad we shared at the beginning of our meal was the highlight of the evening, as it was one of the best we have ever tasted. We decided to share the 12-ounce filet and a side of spinach and mushrooms. While the filet was cooked correctly, it was too charred, making it difficult to enjoy. The spinach and mushrooms were good, however. For dessert, we ordered the Hazelnut chocolate mousse, which did not meet our expectations. We sent it back and opted for the bread pudding instead, but found it to be overly sweet. Additionally, I had ordered coffee with my dessert but never received it. T...

Unknowledgeable server for this level of restaurant. Didn't know they had wine flights offered, even though 2 flights listed on the wine page listing wines by the glass. Morton's not what it used to be. No offer for sparkling vs tap water when you're seated. Needed to ask twice for olive oil with the bread. No posterhouse or t bone steaks on menu. No longer show you the steaks on a platter and explain the cuts of meat. No longer have souffles on desert menu. Almost $300 meal for two, but very average

What I enjoyed most about the experience was the service from our waiter, Aaron. He was funny, friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. We really appreciate him taking care and his jokes was amazing as the food. Thank you

Everyone paid attention to detail from valet helping me with birthday decorations to happy birthday printed on the menus to exceptional table staff help to taking our family pictures!! It was a great night!! Thank you
